1/35 5.5cm Coelian Panther

I built the Tamiya Late Panther G and added the Cromwell Models 5.5cm Coelian conversion. The Cromwell kit cinsisted of a turret, two 5.5cm guns and a few detail parts. The build was very simple and almost completely out of the box. I did add mesh screens for the engine air in/air out system.

I scratch build the gun barrels but used the kit flash surpressors. The guns were made from copper and brass tubing. The resin guns were wrarped beyond repair. Easy enough to duplicate the guns in metal, using the kit part as a pattern.

I tried some new photo methods, more dramatic, hope you enjoy them.
