I'd got back started on this one i'd brought it over to last monday nights club meeting just to bring it. This project has started out as a pile of parts from the parts box so no expense was spared.

 Heres a list of modications:

Monogram 55 Chevy Street Machine Front Axle & Springs
Monogram 65 Corvette "Black Rat" 396 ci engine with a parts box Hilborn injected intake with metal stacks from who knows where.

Revell 69 Camaro Yenko wheels the rear sleeves are from a Revell 49 Merc kit.
Monogram Tom Daniel's Beer Wagon fenderwell headers
Kits door panels fabbed out of an coke can.

 Heres the in-progress pics.

Hay I like what you have done with your engine. I remember a woman won one of the Pinks all out competition with and injector stack manifold much like yours. I think her truck was a ford though but it was shaped like yours. I'm going to keep my eyes on this build for some time.. Wink

Thanks for the compliments, Vince my goal on this project is building this one between 1964-1969 period correct. Im still scouting for color schemes for this one but that gray primer is starting to grow on me.

Heres some recent pics of the 64 Chevy the engine is still the same except i'd ditched the stock valve covers in favor of a set of Finned Valve Covers from a AMT 63 Corvette Stingray kit which looks cool. And i primered the bed. Theres a lot more work ahead.

Don't take this the rong way. You may need to go over you bed with a little dartker colored primer. See some times the color of the primer can some times effect the final color-tone or shade. if you leave it the way it is you may end up with your cab darker than your bed., but if you have dont this before and did not have any bad effects from it than over look what I have stated. Its no big deal, Vince when i'd painted the bed thats all the primer i'd had at the time. I still need to do some more work on the bed that primer will be mostly sanded off and sprayed with the Dupli-Color primer thats on the cab. A lot more work ahead.

Its been a while since i'd worked on this puppy so on the spur of the moment i'd decided to lay some paint and so i'd did. The paint is Dupli-Color "Engine Enamel" Detroit Diesel Alpine Green which looks 60's to me and painted the interior the same color except i'd dullcoated that. I'd robbed the hood from my 64 Custom since i didnt feel like tinkering with the other one.
